She was slated to be a service dog, but she had too much interest in chasing critters (especially birds). So, now she's a SURFice dog, helping people with disabilities in a non traditional way. The term SURFice dog was trademarked for her by Puppy Prodigies, the non profit service dog organization she is part of and because she also surfs. They put service dog and surfing together and came up with SURFice dog!
